Why it exists
Coffee lives in deep bags and tall canisters, and a short kitchen spoon means fishing around with your fingers in the beans or spilling grounds across the camp table. At camp and at the kitchen counter, coffee, tea, and seasoning all need a scoop with enough reach to get to the bottom and a bowl sized for the job. This stainless steel scoop with a long walnut wood handle is made for that small, repeated job. Choose Large or Small and keep the same tool in the kit you already pack.
How it works
Reach into the bag or canister, fill the bowl, and level it against the rim. The long walnut handle keeps your hand out of the beans and gives you something to hold when the bag is nearly empty and the last beans are at the bottom. The Large size, about 18.7 cm (7.4 in) long with a 4.5 cm (1.8 in) bowl, is the one for whole beans and ground coffee: it reaches the base of a tall canister and moves a useful amount of coffee per scoop, whether you are dosing a French press, a percolator, or a pour-over dripper. The Small size, about 12.7 cm (5 in) long with a 2.2 cm (0.9 in) bowl, is for loose tea, sugar, salt, and spice jars where a big bowl would not fit through the mouth.
Use it with any brew method that needs a measured dose of grounds. Pair it with a grinder for whole beans, or keep it with the canister at camp so it is where you need it at first light.
Built for the trail
- Stainless steel scoop bowl for coffee, tea, and seasoning, so it rinses clean between coffee and spice duty.
- Long walnut wood handle that reaches the bottom of bags and jars without your hand following it in.
- Two sizes: Large for coffee canisters and bags, Small for tea tins, spice jars, and sugar at a camp table.
- Wood in the hand instead of bare metal, which matters on a frosty morning when every steel tool in the kit is cold.
- Listed with no high-concerned chemicals.
- Small and light enough to live in the kitchen box or a coffee kit pouch without crowding it.
- Looks right next to a canister or grinder, which makes it a good small gift on its own or alongside one.
Best for
Home and cabin brewers who keep beans in a canister and want a scoop that reaches the bottom; car campers and van travelers who dose coffee at a camp table every morning; and anyone who likes a single scoop that moves between the coffee bag, the tea tin, and the spice jar. Pick Large if your main job is coffee. Pick Small if it is tea, sugar, or spices, or if your tins have narrow mouths. If you need a precise dose by weight for pour-over, this scoop gets you close and consistent, but a scale is the tool for that job.
Honest limits
The walnut handle is real wood, so it wants to stay out of the dishwasher and out of soaking water: hand wash and dry it promptly, or the wood will dry out and the finish will dull. Treat the bowl as a consistent volume to calibrate against your own taste rather than a gram-measured dose. It is a scoop, not a clip or a lid, so it does not seal the bag; pair it with a canister if freshness is the problem you are solving.
