Walnut Coffee Filter Holder with Metal Frame

Why it exists

Cone filters do not store themselves well. Left loose on a counter or tossed in a camp bin, they flatten, scatter, pick up dust, and the one you grab is creased so it will not seat in the dripper. This holder fixes that with a walnut base and a thin metal wire frame that keeps a stack of 01 and 02 cone papers upright, clean, and within reach, so the next filter is ready whether you brew at home, in a cabin, or at a van or camp table. You get the stand only; paper filters are sold separately.

How it works

Set the holder next to your dripper and kettle. Open a sleeve of 01 or 02 cone filters, square the stack, and drop it into the wire frame so the papers stand on the walnut base with the frame supporting the cone. The frame holds about 40 filters (maker's figure). When you brew, pull one filter from the front, fold the seam, seat it in your 60-degree cone dripper, rinse if that is your habit, and pour. The stack stays upright behind it, and each paper comes off flat and uncreased instead of fished out of the bottom of a bin.

It suits any pour-over routine built around a cone dripper: a single morning cup with an 01, or an 02 when you are brewing for more than yourself. At camp, it lives on the table beside the grinder; in a van, it rides in the kitchen drawer and comes out with the dripper. It pairs directly with our unbleached 01 and 02 cone filters.

Built for the trail

• Walnut wood base gives the stand a flat, steady footing so the stack does not tip on a counter or a camp table.
• Thin brass-tone metal wire frame supports the cone shape without hiding it, so you can see how many filters are left.
• Holds about 40 cone filters (maker's figure), roughly a sleeve at a time.
• Fits 01 and 02 cone-shaped (V-style) paper filters, the two cone sizes we stock.
• Keeps filters upright and off the surface, so they stay flat, clean, and ready to seat in the dripper.
• Small footprint for a home brew bar, a cabin counter, or a van galley shelf.
• Holder only; it works with the cone filters you already use and with our unbleached 01 and 02 cones.

Best for

Pour-over brewers with a home, cabin, or van coffee station who brew with a 60-degree cone dripper and are tired of creased, dusty filters. It is a natural gift for a coffee lover who camps, especially paired with a sleeve of 01 or 02 filters. It is not for you if your dripper takes flat-bottom basket filters or flat round discs, because the frame is shaped for cones and will not hold those. Backpackers counting grams should leave it at base camp; it is a counter piece, not a trail item.

Honest limits

This is a display-and-storage stand, not a container: the filters are open to the air, so it belongs on a counter or table rather than in a dusty truck bed or a wet camp box. The walnut base is wood, so wipe it with a dry cloth and keep it away from standing water and kettle spills. The 40-filter capacity is the maker's figure and depends on how tightly the sleeve is packed. No filters are included.
