Why it exists
A short scoop leaves coffee packed at the bottom of a bag or canister, so you end up guessing the dose or tipping beans onto the ground to reach them. This stainless scoop holds one tablespoon, 15 ml (0.5 fl oz), and its long handle reaches the bottom of a deep bag or tall canister, so you take a clean, level scoop at camp or on the kitchen counter. It is a minimal piece: one bowl, one handle, nothing to break.
How it works
Reach into the bag or canister, fill the bowl, and level it against the rim. Each level scoop is 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of beans or grounds. Scale your usual recipe in scoops and keep it the same from trip to trip, whether you are feeding a dripper, a press, a percolator, or a moka pot. Because the handle is long, the last scoop at the bottom of the bag is as easy as the first, and you are not tipping the whole bag over a grinder in the dark.
It is a measuring scoop, not just a coffee scoop. The same 15 ml bowl works for powdered milk, drink mix, salt, and spices in a camp kitchen box. Rinse it or hand wash it, dry it, and drop it back in the canister or the kit.
Built for the trail
-
One-tablespoon bowl, 15 ml (0.5 fl oz). A single level scoop for coffee, and for powder or spices if you use it that way.
-
Long handle. Reaches the bottom of a bag or canister so you never pour beans out to get at the last of them.
-
Minimal stainless measuring scoop. No clip, no hinge, no extra bulk in the kit.
-
Stainless steel construction. Rinse and reuse; it does not hold flavors.
- Listed with no high-concerned chemicals.
-
A match for our stainless canisters. Same material, sized to live inside them.
Best for
Brewers who measure by the tablespoon and keep beans or grounds in tall canisters or deep bags, at home, in a van, or in a camp kitchen box. It is the right tool for a consistent dose without electronics, and a sensible companion to a stainless canister. If you dose by weight and chase tenths of a gram, carry our pocket coffee scale instead; a scoop measures volume, not mass.
Honest limits
A scoop measures volume, and coffee is not uniform: dark roasts, light roasts, whole beans, and grounds all pack a 15 ml bowl differently, so a level scoop is consistent but not a weight. It comes in one size only. The maker lists the capacity and the material but not the handle length or weight, so we do not state them. Hand wash or rinse, then dry.
