stainless-camp-kettle-1-l
Stainless Steel Camp Kettle with Wood Handle

Why it exists

Dawn boil on a compact stove is the job this kettle was cut for. Most camp pots make you grab a hot metal rim the moment the water is ready, and a wide pot pours badly into a dripper. This kettle is a polished 201 stainless steel vessel with a wood handle and a kettle-and-teapot spout, so a full pot lifts without touching hot metal and the water lands where you aim it. One piece covers the coffee water, the tea, the freeze-dried meal, and the last mug by the fly.

How it works

Fill it, set it on the camp stove or picnic burner, and wait for the boil. Lift by the wood handle, which gives a cooler, surer grip than a bare rim, and pour. The spout delivers a controlled stream, so it suits pour-over through a dripper or paper cone, a small press, or a straight pour into a mug of instant or tea. For freeze-dried meals, pour into the pouch, seal it, and set the kettle back on the burner for the next round.

Pick the capacity by how much you boil at once. The 500 ml (17 fl oz) size is the solo mug and small-dripper kettle. The 750 ml (25 fl oz) size covers a pour-over plus a meal pouch from one boil. The 1 L (34 fl oz) size is for boiling for more than yourself. After the trip, rinse it, dry it fully, and store it with the lid off.

Built for the trail

201 stainless steel body with a polished finish. Soot and splash wipe off without scrubbing, so it stays presentable after a week of burner duty.

Wood handle. Cooler and surer in the hand than a hot rim when the kettle is full and the stove is still going.

Kettle-and-teapot spout. Pours a controlled stream into mugs and drippers instead of the glug of a pot lip, which matters for pour-over.

Sized in 500 ml, 750 ml, and 1 L. Match the kettle to the number of mugs and meal pouches you boil for, not the other way around.

Lid on top. Keeps ash and grit out of the water while it heats, and comes off for drying and storage.

Packed weight 0.53 kg (1.2 lb), maker's figure. Light enough to ride in a car-camp box or a weekend pack beside the stove.

Built as the daily boil piece. Coffee water, tea, and meal water on weekend trips, all from one vessel.

Best for

Car campers, weekend backpackers, van kitchens, and cabin counters that run a compact stove or picnic burner and want one vessel for coffee water, tea, and meal water. Pour-over drinkers get the most from the spout. Choose 500 ml if you brew for yourself, 750 ml for coffee plus a meal pouch, and 1 L if you boil for more than one person. If you want a vessel that also cooks food, or a kettle rated for heat sources beyond camp stoves and picnic burners, this is not that piece.

Honest limits

This is a kettle, not a cook set: it boils water and that is its whole job. The handle is wood, so treat the kettle as a rinse-and-dry piece rather than something to soak or leave wet in a pack, and dry the 201 stainless interior fully before storing it. The maker's capacity and weight figures can vary by a few grams or centimetres from the vessel in hand; treat the kettle you receive as the final check. The maker lists camp stoves and picnic burners as the heat source, and we do not claim it for anything else.

Specs

Spec

Detail

Material

201 stainless steel, polished finish; wood handle

Weight

0.53 kg (1.2 lb) packed (maker's figure; can vary by a few grams)

Capacity

500 ml (17 fl oz), 750 ml (25 fl oz), or 1 L (34 fl oz)

Options

Capacity: 1 L, 750 ml, 500 ml

What's in the box

Kettle with lid

Works with

Camp stoves and picnic burners used for boiling water; pours into mugs and drippers

Care

Rinse after use, dry fully, store with the lid off so the interior stays clean

What's covered

30-day returns for unused items in original packaging; anything that arrives defective or damaged is replaced.

Free shipping on every order.
